Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association

Founded in 1934 by H.T.C Field, the Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association (GCIOBA) has evolved from intimate gatherings in members' homes into a prestigious network of alumni. Influential leaders like Benjamin Oguntimehin and Olawale Babalakin have guided the association through significant growth, shaping its legacy of tradition and excellence.

With branches across Nigeria, Europe, and North America, GCIOBA’s annual reunion each October serves as a vital occasion for members to reconnect and celebrate shared experiences. This event includes the Annual General Meeting, Reunion Luncheon, and the prestigious Merit Award ceremony, honoring those who exemplify the association's values.
The National Executive Council oversees GCIOBA's operations and strategic initiatives, ensuring effective governance through various committees. This structure supports the association's commitment to progress and excellence.
